Hi all, been having a think and as ive done a couple of track days in my megane now, i dont want to use it as a daily and track it at the same time. I was thinking of getting a standard 225 stripping it out ect roll cage. Dont want to de-value my F1 see. Or just strip out the F1? Any suggestions would be great.
Buying another is a little risky, with your own car at least you know the history etc and what state its in mechanically - plus if you bought a 225 you'd more than likely want it to have the same / more power than your F1 and braking set up etc? - don't know how much that would end up costing and maybe not make this idea viable? don't really know how much the f1s are going for these days?
Thats what ive been thinking also.. plus also mine has got miltek turbo back, intercooler, 630's and its running 300 so if i was to buy a 225 i would want that to be 300. So as you said it may not be worth it! Thanks!
I'd stick with what you've got unless you can find a "known" mint one You could end up throwing money to get it to where your car is, also when building a track car you want to start with a good example not a knacker
