So i took off my old spoiler in preparation to fitting the r spoiler - and noticed where the old holes for the screws were, the paint under is starting to bubble which will inevitably rust I've got to drill new holes for the new spoiler - what would people recommend treating the holes with to ensure that the same doesn't happen?
And what colour would you recommend to touch up; as i can't touch up small patches with 3 layer pearl the closest yellow i can find?
I've got some LY touch up. Your new holes shouldn't be on display anyway. If they are you're doing it wrong. Personally I had it all professionally done my old holes welded up all repainted.
I've only read guides around the forums; most from what i've read leave the centre hole open. let alone covering the holes which aren't going to be visible. I'll look at getting a touch up kit from renault, thanks for the heads up
If I were you and putting a bung in the middle I'd use some clear silicone bathroom sealant etc to weatherproof it a bit more.
I was going to use a grommet - they tend to seal pretty well, similarly when being used when de-wipering rear windows
