When do they move as going next month

 

Moved on the 1st July, Mark is now on his own rather than working for someone else.

 

He's already there , just had my clutch replaced with a new smf and .R clutch at his today. Now I realise how much mine was knackered. Such an improvement

Does the dmf always need replacing? Just been on phone to Renault parts direct and they said they've never sold a dmf and it shouldn't need replacing. Is this true?

 

No - its not true. They fail.

 

So change it when changing clutch, definitely? How big a job is the clutch, time wise?

 

I changed mine from DMF to SMF .

It depends on your level of competency to the time required.

 

If you are having to ask then I suggest you take it to a garage

 

I won't be doing it. I'm terrible with cars. I have a mate who works on my cars, was just curious how long I'd be without it. He does a normal job during the week and foreigners at weekends.

Had my mate do the clutch for me. Well, took it to him Friday and he still has it! To be fair, he didn't start it till Saturday then realised clutch is fine and dmf is ruined so couldn't get dmf u til yesterday. I don't think he's speaking to me anymore though. Had to remove a load of stuff to get to it.
