What have you done to your Car today?

Man I wish I hadn't looked at that picture, looks just like my R26 but have to admit it looks waaaaayyyy better slammed with those red .R wheels.

 

Fitted my sun strip looks pretty cool now.

Tried to fit my corbeau's to the ktr subframes didn't really work so their gonna have to be modded which is a pain

 

Bought myself one of these which turned up today...

Had my silver door handles sprayed in gloss black. Looks awesome!!

any pics of the sun strip mate and where did you get it from?

 

i need to do this on mine was it an easy enough job to remove the handles

 

I had them done off a mate. He said they was a b*stard to get them off!!!

 

On the 225/r26 it takes 2 mins to remove handles

 

Watched the 50k mile mark come up



(yes I was driving, it was 6am this morning on an empty straight road!).

Least you can hide it with skirts. I couldn't on mine so had to weld in a new sill.

My neighbours trolley jack. Mine is fecked & need a new one. Proper schoolboy error.

Skirt hides it but you can still see where it's lifted up. Saved cash on the new discs, gonna spunk a load at a body shop now lol. Ah well.

Adjusted the harnesses and went for a quick drive, loving how supportive they are.....missus already hates it and her seat isn't even in yet

 

Booked in for mid box chop wednesday

 

Booked a 2 hour evening track session for next week!, put the road tyres back on again, the noise diff (lack thereof) is quite noticeable lol

 

Paid for it.

Final payment debited from my account today.

 

Washed & clayed. Put away in the garage ready for a wax tomorrow.

 

Has the windscreen changed due to a crack.

And the bloke really liking the car.

 

Bought a new set of front calipers to change when we get back off holiday

 

Polished and waxed.

Now sat in the garage until all of my fuel line parts arrive.

 

Mid box chopped, big improvement IMO!

 

Took it for a MOT, passed no advisories

 

Got my scorpion decat today ready for fitting on monday

 

Mini Service, new front pads, braided lines and new fluid all done, scuttle panel cut to expose suspension top mounts

 

Washed, clayed, glazed and waxed ready for Cornwall at the weekend!

 

Pirelli p zeros arrived. Got the bloke across the road from work to fit them. payed him with a bacon butty. Win!
