R26 Splitter problems

  1. Managed to whack the front rubber splitter thingy the other day and its cracked a few of the clips on the bumper holding it on. Anyone done this and managed a decent repair? I'm tempted to try superglue or screws?! They're only slightly cracked, rather than all the way through, so hopefully fixable. meh :worried:

  2. they're held on by clips/fittings on the bottom of the bumper iirc you cant buy them!

  3. yeah its the clips on the bottom of the bumper that have cracked- well 2 of them have. I'm going to try Supergluing them. nothing to lose. It looks a right manky shed with the the corner of the rubber strip hanging off.

  4. try araldite mate i glued my cup spoiler back on the 182 after it broke into 3 bits.

  5. Good info. Thanks mate. Tried this flexibond stuff last night and its not worked.

  6. na araldite 2 pack stuff is where its at.it works a treat on plastic

  7. Tiger seal?

  8. Make sure you buy the black version!

  9. tiger seal would be ok to put the splitter on not really good for fixing snapped plastic

  10. Epoxy didn't work. Big self tapper did though!
