No, not sure what the issue is yet. It's being picked up this week so I'll find out soon. Was a rather almighty bang though! I almost physically shat myself..
Looks far better like this, did this to my 200 when I had it. Gives it a bit of the vintage French look
Fired it up today after some time in storage on the c-tec battery conditioner. Man it sounds good after driving a van for months. Plan is to pull it out into the workshop and get it all washed up and ready for a little bit of work.
Tell me about it, I had 30 minutes this morning to swap me anti twist links before the heavens opened lol Least it was dry yesterday when I did me hub bearings
It does my head in getting all the tools out then it bloody rains. I could leave it but I want to fit before the weather gets too cold and it's dark at 4pm. I really wish I had a garage.
Yeah I sometimes have use of me mates unit but don't like to take the piss, I really need to find me own this winter. Thing is once your wet its sometimes easier just to carry on lol
Haha not me. I don't like getting wet, first drop of rain and my tools are away and I'm in the house getting the kettle on.
I had the short shift mod done for my phase 1 and I absolutely love it. It transforms the gear change and is so much better to drive. Also had the injectors changed to a freshly cleaned set and I may be imagining it but the car feels smoother and mpg so far is better from 23 to 27 mpg?
Gapped my plugs to cure the misfire since it had been mapped, Still need to take it out a blast to check though
Changed the dash cover from grey to black. Kept it flocked to stop the glare on the windscreen. Only a few more bits to go black and I will be happy.
Another layer of wax added, seeing as it's raining outside and I can listen to the radio in the garage. Better than moping inside
Treated car with a "stage 1" tune, staying away from silly torque numbers.. now it needs a good wash..
if you can trust what Torque reports, the highest I've seen before is 1.0 bar, today after the mapping, I saw it go to 1.3 for a blip, but looked more like 1.2 sustained..
Gave the R26 a good clean over the weekend. Killed me to drive it to work today in the rain can anyone advise what sidelight bulbs I can get to better match the xenons?
Just waiting to hear back from CAE then ill probably be ordering one of their shifters with the cheeky tax rebate i got
