With one week left until my (short) summer holiday I figured it'd be fun to hear what plans other people have in mind! I'm going to Germany for a week with some mates (Hamburg, Munich and Nürburgring) Gonna eat good food, drink good drinks and visit BMW welt to hopefully take the M3 and i8 for a spin in the countryside! So, what are your plans. Sunshine and beers, or perhaps a few trackdays?
This years holiday will be to the Spa F1 Gp with in the ring included Then off to Tenerife over Xmas and new year
Is everyone's answer going to have something to do with the Nurburgring in it? Haha Ring Trip Sept 2015 11th-14th, only "holiday" this year, but planning something big for early next year
Keeping with the trend.....The ring this Fri-Sun .. .annoyed as they changed the 8-7 on Saturday to 1:30-7. Vegas 14-21 Sept Sorrento, Italy 24-28 Sept Possibly Turkey in October Trackdays are unbooked but plan on Bedford, Snetterton and then Silverstone with some MLR guys.
Have you been to the Black Forest region in Germany? Did it for the first time a couple of months back... amazing place and some amazing beers
No, I haven't! Got a feel for a Eurotrip next year. Have to get some mates together. I'm not a big fan of beer unfortunately so I don't appreciate Germanys beer culture as much as my friends do. Can never get enough of the schnitzels though!
I've already done my ring trip for the year back in March, Dubai in August and track day at Knockhill in Sept
Highly recommend Lake Titisee, black forest if you get a chance on a Euro-trip Pork or Veal Schnitzel... mmmmmm also love some Currywurst and crisp fries. Making myself hungry now.
We've got 2 booked, 1st with the kids come back for 10 days then just me and the Mrs are off again for a week , so on our holiday there will be no cars, just drink, sun and sex
We weren't going away this year with saving for our wedding but that's all come into place now so me and the missus are off to the ring now for 5 days and then no doubt do a few short breaks as its a little late to book time off at work now other then what I'm allocated!
We had 2 weeks in Costa Adeje, Tenerife in May... Planning a week or 2 away in September, just no idea where yet!
Went on our honeymoon to 3 legendary tracks as a sort of touring holiday, Reims, Nurburgring then across to Spa. We messed up with the ring and arrived knackered and late so I didn't bother going out for a lap on the TF that evening thinking I could get on track the next day. Didn't realise it was tyre testing all day and we had to leave for Spa before TF started again in the evening. I had already looked up the roads across to Spa and oh my god isn't it only the best public road I have ever driven on. Incredible cross country drive through the forests. Black forest is another on our to do list. Trying to convince the Mrs to take a week off start September and head over to Cherbourg for another little week of touring about.
We were thinking of going touring for our honeymoon, neither of us are into lounging around as we are easily board. A friend of mine did it a few years back in his z4, few nights in Bruges in Belgium as him and his missus are both into there Belgium ales then Germany, Switzerland and France.
Just about to book a long weekend in Budapest in October, cheap beer, amazing women and a fantastic city.
We've got an 11 island Caribbean cruise also booked , fly out to Barbados on Boxing Day looking forward to that one, we've been before and it put any other holiday we've been on to shame

We're driving the megane to the south of France for our honeymoon in August.....the fiancée is coming round to the fixed buckets and harnesses.
I'm going to Salema in Portugal, cannot come soon enough had a crap year in work and need to get away. No chance of getting my mrs on a driving holiday in the Meg its too bumpy and noisey ha ha
