The article sounds promising and sounds like there going after the likes of the trophy R and R26r crowd! I'm certainly a fan and ingredients sound good and it'll also come with the german quality you know so well from VW! Waiting eagerly on price, no doubt out of my league for a while but certainly a breathe of fresh air!
I really like the look of this too, front bumper looks great as does the cage. I wonder what engine it'll get, if its just the GTi engine turned up or the R engine with a different turbo.
Its suspected to be around 260-270 bhp with over boost to 287bhp Either way with it being VW there's always masses of support from the tuning industry as its such a popular marque
Good point, forgot about that. That's been knocking around for years, hopefully they get it to production. Will be great seeing those on the road.

Twin oval tail pipes would suit better imo. Think my Cupra is going to have to make way for a R400 next year if its out by then.
