  1. Couldn't wait had to fit the engine mount insert. Nice and easy 10 minute job.[IMG]

  2. Ha ha it's quite sad how giddy you get over new parts turning up!

  3. How do you fit the top one? Not even opened the packet!

  4. Put a jack under the engine/undertray to support the weight.

Loosen the centre 18mm bolt then undo the 3 16mm bolts holding the mount to the body. I then jacked the engine up about an inch for more room. Undo the long 18mm bolt and twist it up and pull it out.

Grease the insert and push it in.
Its easier to refit the long bolt into the mounting before refitting back into the gap.

  5. I'll get Fred to fit mine then lol. Knowing me I'll go through the sump!

  6. Little bit if wood will stop that.

  7. Bump

  8. Sorry mate I missed your post above.
The price was right mate, it's because it's the whole bush and not just an insert.
You can't get just the insert for yours.

Sorry for the slow reply mate

  9. Ah ok, that's fine! Makes it easier !

    Many thanks!

  10. Is anyone still waiting for the bushes mine was sent out Tuesday and still nothing, I've just sent them a email.

  11. I emailed earlier in the week and they gave me a tracking number. Mine arrived Tuesday though.

    Try this email address: ella@whybee.co.uk

  12. Got mine yesterday so all good here on delivery, but they have ignored 3 emails now on not charging me 30% discount, I did get one email from mark asking what I bought, then I sent them my invoice 3 times but no replies lol, its only £8.00 so I will let it go this time, cant be arsed sending emails . good job lee and thank you very much bro

  13. They sent me a tracking number earlier and parcelforce had attempted delivery but never left a card! So it's been sat at Royal Mail since Tuesday.

  14. no wonder my amount came to more as I actually wanted the pff60-524blk, I got more order and whybee told me that someone had emailed them telling them to change my order ??? wtf, now I have a friggin late model r26 bush I cant use as I have an early 2007 r26, if someone is going to change my order they could have atleast pm'ed me first, one very unhappy midnight :worried:(

  15. Ummmmm trouble is mine was correct to begin with I wanted this parts, don't people pm any more :worried:((, anybody want a pff60-526blk , as it don't fit on my early 2007 r26, cant believe my order was changed without my consent wtf.... that's my 2nd rant tonight lol, off to bed now pissed off and now £41.53 out of pocket

At the bottom of the mount its a round bush?

  17. The insert just slots in above the round bit.
looks the same as the one I fitted to mine but black.
Try it to see only takes 10 mins.

  18. The part number that was changed refers to the lower rear mount?
Have you looked at yours to see which one is fitted?

  19. Fs I just packed up as I thought it looked wrong I'll try tomorrow.

  20. There is a picture of mine fitted on page 17 on this thread.

  21. Just had a look now, annoyed now.

  22. Not my pictures but- 2f37a7e1d63139ef3c46217f3139e229.jpg e3cf52b0674db6ed83efc803afee34fb.jpg 806a473c2899458a4537adf9e5716b47.jpg 812eef9009016b92401918e8ceac43ec.jpg

  23. well my sleep didn't do any good, still pissed off

  24. Not surprised really especially getting up at half 5!

  25. just cant understand how an order can be changed by someone else, I have an early r26 with cast and not a late R26 with aluminium , I know it can be sent back but I am going to Sheffield sunday/Monday and was going to pop into mark black to fit em , I am glad all the late model guys are fucking happy with the order change, I on the on the other hand aint happy at all, ok last rant about this , I will go take my medication for the day lol

  26. Slight confusion resolved
Paid and received promptly! Top stuff!

  27. I have no idea if mine is the right one either midnightrunner. I have seen the mount on mine and it is the one with large holes/gaps in it. It doesn't look like the one that Boardy posted above though which I'm hoping is the 225/early 230 one?

Anyone have a picture of a late 230 mount?

  28. I hope mines right. Being 2008 I assume I'm late r26 lol.

  29. Yeah that's gaz's 225, but it's the same on my 07 plate 230.

I think this is the late one

  30. What's the crossover dates from early to late r26's I'm a 57 plate

  31. I honestly don't know mate?
Best thing to do is have a quick look it's easy to see, it's in the centre at the rear of the engine, the is a 3" beam that runs the width of the car and it sits above that, the is a access hole in the centre of the beam to get to one of the bolts for it.

  32. Okay mate will have a look in abit

  33. Do the rear bushes need pressing in or do they insert?

  34. Well I have my correct pair of bushes put on by mark black today as I was in Sheffield visiting my missus inlaws, but as expected the other bush was the incorrect one, so I will try and get them to take it back and swap for the right one, but knowing whybee and being 23 quid dearer I doubt it, so if not I will sell it on here instead , shame as I could have had all 3 done today Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh Grrrrrrrrrrr lol

  35. Gutted mate, I'm sure they will take them back, I will drop them a email now asking about returns.

  36. Myself to blame too lee, they did invoice first but I did not see the changes made to my order , could sell it here I guess as its a 60 quid bush without the discount, may put it here for 45 posted  for someone that missed the group buy

  37. It's still a pain in the dick though, sure you shift it no bother but...
Just a shame you could not get them all done today, I'm having a nightmare with the lower engine mount on mine, can't get the bolt out, killed my impact gun trying at the weekend!

  38. Mine feels spot on now, the mounts have made such a difference.

    Nice meeting you chap.

  39. Must admit even with the top mount and gearbox mount done it's feels loads tighter.

  40. Mark black did em both in 40mins , my missus was with me and all done by the time she finished reading the paper , interesting side effect tho under tick over with the blk version I can tell you lol
