im new to the megane forum so go easy on me . ive been an rs fan ever since my first ph1 rs clio had a fair few of them an cars . i like cars and bikes i bought this recently of an elderly owner late 60s who owned it from new its got a full history from renault not perfect but not far off . needs wheel refurb new mats and pas side window sorted . before i bought it i thought i had a vast knowledge of rs renaults but appears this slipped under my radar its got 60k miles and is totally origional with a nice plate for an 05 225 not many plans but to keep it origional and maybe a stage one map .
Welcome to the forum mate - Trophy looks great and well looked after! The windows are a very common issue: you can take off the speaker cover (unclips nearest dash first, then slip out towards dash), then unscrew the speaker itself, get your arm in and wriggle the module and it may work, failing that, its a door card off job (about an hour in total) then cleaning out the electrical contacts on the window module did the trick for me.
I got a refurbed module off ebay, thats been water proofed. You get a 2 year warrenty, much better deal than wat renault offer.
Just type megane window module into ebay. Then find the referbed 1s that are water proofed with 2year warrenty.
