  1. Hey guys do the speaker grills come away from the door cards at all, of course the answer will be no cos Renault wont make it that easy now will they lol:rolleyes:

  2. Yes they do. Just pop them off. Start at the front and just pull them out.

  3. nice one james )

  4. Go steady with them bud ! They can be a bit fiddly.... I found a useful vid on Youtube when I did mine, allbeit in Russian ! Start at the front edge from memory and easy does it !

The last bit has a long hook like piece that goes into behind the door handle...

  5. Yep - pull on the clips nearest the dash first - then it slides out as you pull it towards the dash.

There's a really good detailed guide on the rsclub site I think you're a member of midnight should you need to take the full door card off.

  6. cheers drew n papps I will endeavour to be careful lol, of course that really means I am going to muck it up and get new cards hehehehe

  7. If I am understand what you mean by 'grill', just make sure if you are replacing with aftermarket grill that the glovebox has clearance, I was going to put my Kenwood grills in place of the stock ones and realised the glovebox wouldve been hitting on it!

  10. You changed the head unit yet bud ?

I did speakers first and was disappointing.. then changed the head unit and the sound came to life

  11. Yeah I agree, even the OEM speakers sound so much better with a decent head unit.

Slightly OT but would I notice any difference with updated front speakers over oem ones?

  13. You should. Pioner dirrect fit ones are great units

  14. On a standard head unit not much improvement in my experience Naith... unless yours are completely shot / torn...

Maybe I was expecting too much of a gain though... new unit and bingo !
