Am I right in thinking some bodywork has been done to my car and the fuel cover and hinge etc should be flush with car just been behind another megane but my fuel cover is slightly proud

  2. Mine sits slightly proud. Think its one of those French quirks!

Just had another look the edge toward front of car is proud and rear where finger hole is flat must just be me lol

  4. Maybe sits definitely depending on the day!

  5. Mine sits proud too at the front edge, and flat where the finger hole is. Think it is just a build quality thing..

I had a brand new flap and fuel surround and it was exactly the same - i.e not the nicest of fits!

Yeah but not as much now - where the flap opens a peg on the painted bit slides onto the fuel filler surround - my original was broken so moved quite a lot - the new one hardly moves now.

I can never believe how much crap comes out from behind it every time i wash the car!

  12. Next time you wash, open it up and give it a good spray with an APC. Also check to make sure the drainage hole is clear
