Last time this car was fully detailed was back in november last year and was wearing AF Tough Coat Started to wear off some time ago and been meaning to get it down and lay some fresh AF Illusion on it :argie: Lets start of with a few befores and a rinse, it wasnt that bad being washed 3 weeks ago Then on to the wheels with various brushes. The wheels have only been back on for a few weeks as they had been refurbed and was sealed with AF Mint Rims on the inside and Planet Polish Wheel&Seal on the outside so was just a wash down for them with VP Bilberry Arches and the tyres where cleaned down with G101, Wheel Woolies and a Envy Brush Next up was a snow foam with AF Avalanche
5 Mins later All the badges/seals etc cleaned with a Valet Pro detailing brush and G101 And rinsed off AF Citrus Power on the front and rear ends Tardis to tackle the minor tar spots i had around the car Iron x on the rear and lower panels that did its work but not a huge amount there
Washed with Britemax Clean and Car Pro Wash Mitt Last Touch and Sonus Green clay Dried with Last touch and a Mini Blower and Towel As you can see i was trying out the new AF Revitalise kit Taped up and did a test patch but i just couldnt get any decent shots with the light i had Carried on a best i could as its the first time using a machine fully on a car With still some marks on the paint work i was happy and just have to keep at it BOO AF Illusion /Wax mate next :argie: It smells so good and spreads perfectly Buffed off AF Crystal/waffle towel on the glass
AF Revive on the trims and plastics Britemax Twins on the exhaust The tips are starting to corrode and go rusty but made them better anyway And Good old Meguiars Tyre Gel on the tyres Then took it out to get it covered in bugs Well i hope you wasnt to bored and got to the end. Thank You
Looks awesome, I've been thinking of trying the auto finesse products recently- I think I'm going to give them a go!
Cheers guys, the Af kit is very good and easy to use. That day was very hot and polish was drying out to quickly but still wasn't bad. More play time needed... Gavin run it of a lamp post :-@
Glen I've got your jack from cadwell, I'll give it to my brother in law or I'll drop it off at his house next time I pop over and see him mate
looking very nice I need to get mine back to the detailers before winter I have no time to do mine but do quite a few other cars for people
Looks great. Did a mini detail on mine recently, just building up all my products/equipment and will give something of this scale a go.
