So, The Clio benefits from the cup racer 22mm front ARB and Ultra Racing aftermarket rear ARB. The MRS3 benefits from a Superpro 24mm front ARB and an additional rear ARB. Why is there nothing at all for the MRS2?! Are there any similarities between the front and rear axles that would allow the use of aftermarket parts from any of the other cars?
From subframe of Clio 197/200 and MR2 is the same. That means any front ARB will fit our cars as well. I also fitted an Ultra Racing subframe brace from the Clio line. On the rear, everything is different, so nothing will really fit as plug and play. S.
So this will fit plug and play on a Meg 225 ? http://www.ultraracing.my/catalog/index.php?id_product=1965&controller=product Would you recommend this mod, have you noticed any positive input ?
@Ben - I thought so, this is also the description from Ultra Racing on there homepage.... Any "solution" you can do on a Meg except a cage ? On twisty or bumpy roads the chassis feels so much softer compared to a Clio 3 RS....
I'd personally concentrate on you spring and damper setup first before considering chassis bracing, especially for road use.
I'm now on cooksport springs - stock shocks - Michelin PSS I had a KW Clubsport in my Clio, I loved it but I don't want a Coilover Suspension in the Meg due to the strict laws and police over here...maybe in the next car again But I thought I can improve the handling with some goodies like these....
