  1. Which cam have you gone for? And how did you connect to the cig socket?

At the moment I have it connected to the cig Jack but when I don't need it I hide it behind the diagnostics cover. It's called MiVue 508. I will in time probably wire it to the fuse box or somewhere similar and hang the camera behind the mirror. But thats when I get time.

Colouring my wheel nuts. Anyone know the torque rating for putting them back on.

  26. 140 nm

  27. It's 140Nm. There should be a sticker on the inside edge of the drivers door which has the torque rating on it.

They look great, how did you do it? I'm not digging the rust look on mine :tongueout:

Thanks. I have got the manual out just thought you guys might be the easier option mine were a little rusty so I wire wool cleaned them then sprayed with some matt black hard paint. I doubt they will last forever but long enough for me to buy some decent ones!

No doubt! The cost of keeping you glued to the tarmac!

  30. A deep clean in prep for a bit of polishing, noticed it has some horrible road rash on the sill behind the front wheels though :worried:

  31. Yep, nothing like each other rob

  32. Painted my mirror caps gloss black.

    Haha. They look good mate.

  35. I set myself up a little spray tent on the garden made out of old sheets  Tbh you don't need a perfect finish with the paint as you can just wet sand it down with 1200 paper, you need to do that before the lacquer anyway and I found the lacquer the easiest part to do.

I had a spare that I just tried to get the best finish I could with just paint, but the lacquer gives a miles better finish.

  36. Fitted retrimmed steering wheel 211bb31781dc16595999d3a92c50eb6c.jpg

  37. Start doing front discs, pads and paint the calipers.
think a cowboy job was done before. No screws in the discs. pins came out really easy.
sanded down and put 1st coat on passengers side.
start on the drivers side only to find one half of that caliper as seized. Looks like last owner knew this and put in some new pads just before selling it as bar one pad the other 3 are almost new

  38. I've just done my rears. New discs and pads and painted the calipers. Fitting new rubber and sliders to them and changing the brake fluid for ate before doing the fronts in the week.

  39. Renault had my pants down but got some new door bullets as the other ones where looking abit tired and starting to flake.
