Anyone fitted one ? Can they be easily fitted to the 265 ? Fancying changing the system ,know they're costly but imagine they're the best ?
Honestly, there's not a huge difference between the Akrapovic and other aftermarket cat back systems mate. I would save myself the extra £700-1000 or whatever it is and get a miltek etc.
Akrapovic systems are awesome I've fitted some before to bmw minis and there so light and we'll made and the ones I fitted had carbon tail pipes bit like said above I personally couldn't spend that amount on a system when ya can save and get a miltek which are also good quality and fit very well.
If money is no object, buy the akrapovic. The titanium exhaust sounds a little different to the others but there not much in it and in my opinion the smaller diameter exhausts sound better in the 250/265.
I've got the Akra on my 275. I wouldn't bother, it's not that special. Any other aftermarket pipe will be as good, I'm sure.
Ok thanks for all your input, duly noted. So if I dont go Akra, whats the next best ? Is it Mtek res. ? Dont want anything too loud and def no drone I see Akra at RS are about 2k so I want it to be worth it obviously,
Supersprint gets my vote. Epic exhaust, but that's because I have one I'm biased. Race cat back obviously.
I got mine from cazan racing but he's not dealing anymore. You can buy from them directly on their website though. I can look out the part numbers for you if you're struggling. You can make up the exhaust how you like, the parts are mix and match, either silenced or not, race or road etc. There's a thread on here with pictures of mine.
