Okay I have posted many times on forums about this. Now it has happened to me. The suggestions were that 'we' as owners can choose whether we go on a yearly plan [Oil change then a service and so on] or 2 years 12500 miles.[equates to service every 2 years or less] My printed schedules that came with car also suggest this. However with a the 265 S/S 11 months old now the display has just said 'SERVICE IN 30 days' So no choice then. [To be clear I have already had a 6 months oil and filter change. So at 12 months is fine.] [and I would have at 12 months too] My beef was NOW I am being told and need the reset. [Can I reset it? How?] Also whereas an Oil and filter change with me supplying was £39 a 'First service' will be probabaly be more expensisve. [although it says that is all it is] Comments appreciated. Cheers Andy
Just reset it yourself, Scroll to the service due screen, Hold the two stalk buttons in and it will reset it.
You need to hold it for 10s or so, It definitely works as thats how it is reset at Renault/Wherever you get it serviced.
