This is causing arguments. Cup holder despair.

  1. Cup holders! Again. Renault have gotten worse.

Renault only thought to supply one in the front of the car and it's only big enough to take a can sized drink (so a large drink from anywhere is out of the question)

My back seat passengers are fine. They have a pull down but in the middle of the seats that'll happily take 3 cups.

Car is a Megane 275 btw.

Now I know certain bmw models have vents you can upgrade that have fold out cup holders included in them.
I doubt anything like this exists for the Megane, can anyone suggest something that'll help my front seat passenger leave my cup holder alone.

  2. Don't carry passengers

  3. The 250 has two cup holders, though the one that can hold big drink where the controls for the rlink are in the 275 is just in the way of the gear leaver and hnd brake so not much better.

I tend to buy bottles and chuck them in the door pockets.

My engine is in the way.

  9. No drinks in the car. Sorted.

  10. Lol expected these answers but in the real world this car is used for long trips and the fun stuff so needs to be semi practical. If it didn't need to be I'd have got the trophy R :tongueout:

Can't believe Renault still plonk them under the center console.

    Use bottles?

Still, I guess if this is the only thing you have found to complain about then they must have done something right

Your passenger has two hands, correct?

  14. Don't go mc Donald's

  15. Correct he does but he complains more then a hormonal woman (and I should know lol) Hot drinks are the danger zone.

  16. Tell him to walk.

  17. Agree...get him to walk or start using his car!

  18. Bliemy even more shitty plastic bit and bobs for the car. I'd pass.

  19. I don't allow drinks in the car, unless they're mine  My passengers are always made to carry

  20. I ended up resorting to small bottles while for drinking in the car (0.5L ones). They fit nicely in the doors; the 'cup holders' in the center console/tunnel are placed extremely annoying, especially for shifting gears.

  21. Thanks midnight runner. Something that folds flat and can be thrown in the empty glove box is a good shout.

He doesn't have a licence. I'm the car lover lol as it is he has a bee in his bonnet because if he rolls a fag or smokes in my car I will kick him out of it, even if it's moving lol. Smoking has ALWaYS been a big no no in any of my cars.

Tymen they were the same in the 197 but at least in that one the back cup holder was accessible to the driver and was useable
In this one there just isn't :worried:

  22. Try dealing with it in an r26 where the drinks always catch the start stop button. Oh the joys.

  23. That sounds like tonnes of fun. I can't complain too much then.

  24. Get a Camelbak system, place wherever you like (under the seat, in the door pocket or even strapped to the back of the seat, etc.)

Robert is very much your mother's brother.

  26. I have the 250 Cup and "Cup" is definatly not what it was designed for! (Sorry had to). the one in the front bit hits the gears in 1st 3rd and 5th and the one behind it hits 2nd 4th and 6th, Why oh why :worried:

  27. That HAS to be a wind up. No-one would really cut a hole in the actual sill for a CH!
