Bmw M135i ordered

  1. Hi,

I'm trading my Megane RS250 CUP for a BMW M135i 2015 model, manual.
I have enjoy the Megane for 3,5 years now it's time to try out my first BMW.
Have anyone here driven the old model of M135i? Any thoughts on them?

    Br,

  2. You can get good deals on these in the UK

you need to join babybmw forum lots of info on there

  3. Driven my Mum's 125d M sport, which was surprisingly quick and playful. I can only imagine the M135i is an extension of that and then some. Great road car, just a bit too understated looks wise IMO and the recent face/rearlift is just ugly

  4. I was in the wifes Quashqai the other day and one went past me and then off again at the lights. Sounded nice and was super quick

  5. DTaylor swapped for one a few weeks ago, they're super quick and look a lot of fun! I like the way they look understated personally because you never know what it is until they blast past you! Only difference that's noticeable is the brakes, wheels, twin pipes and the badge!

  6. Well I'm not too happy about the looks either but the makeover looks better than the last model so that's a plus
I heard nothing but warnings that you will loose you drivers license etc. will have to drive slowly if possible.. well probably not heh.
I already ordered it here from Finland, the new models price had gone down with 6000€ when comparing to the old model, so that's what got me making a deal for a new one and not a old one.

  7. Absolute cracking replacement. Good choice!

  8. I tried an automatic one. They are seriously rapid and it sounded great. I think people might need get over this sound synth thing. It seems to be the way things are going.

Anyway, two reasons I did not buy one, one was the options. I wanted quite a few and the cost started to mount up. Two, the looks. I am sorry, but despite its performance, it looks too ordinary for me to part with 30k. When I walk away I want look back at the car and think yeah. Not with the 1 Series. I think BMW should make their performance cars a bit more radical. That is in fact across the whole performance range. I walk past a new M3 convertible every day and yes, I simply walk past. In saying all that when in the drivers seat bombing down the road, a 6 cylinder BMW is a joy!

I am sure you will love it!

  9. If i was to buy one my first mods would be JB4 tuning box and a LSD make it into a proper weapon

  10. +1 on the LSD, shame BMW don't provide that as an option and you need to buy an aftermarket one.

  11. Thanks for all your replies. The looks is still a small factor that that is not to be liked.. the RS250 is the car for that.. walk away and look back been doing that  But I kind of like the new looks so I'm not worried about that. LSD yes that would be great but it also wants 2000 £ for so maybe it the future.

  12. Good luck
The looks would kill me, like having a sexy but ugly girlfriend, couldn't do it.
Man across the road had one 2 weeks and crashed it (spun), write-off. Got another and sold it after another 3 weeks.
One needs a change however, so enjoy

  13. For and against this was expected
One thing is that this is the last 1-series rear wheel drive or even better the last 1-series model so it could become a classic

  14. Could become a classic, but you might need to hold on to it for a long long time! They're not particularly rare cars in the UK :tongueout:

  15. As above 1M is a classic now

  16. Here in Finland they are pretty rare. I'm guessing a steep price is the one thing that keeps them on the rare side.. in uk the new starting price is around 30-31.000 £ if I'm correct? Here the starting price is 38.000 £.. and this is because of hour famous car tax yey :worried:

  17. Hi lovely car, its got some great reviews.

Any reason you didnt go for the 235i instead?

  18. Fair enough. The 1M is a classic and will remain so and the fact it's a lot rarer will play a big part. Maybe in Finland it could be the same for the M135i, I didn't realise how expensive it was over there. In the UK, it won't be a classic for a long time at least

  19. Well sadly the starting price here for the M235i is around 46.500 £, don't have the cash for that one. but maybe my next car would be a M235i

  20. wow that is a bit dear, didn't realise there was such a big price difference between the two
