managed to have blowout on trailer halfway to trackday so megane never made it out really gutted.. so plan b of taking my mates mk2 gti out which is my old car happend..
I've took some pics so I will do a "how to" when I get chance very easy job once you know what needs doing as it does seem to be a thing more so on the rs seats than recaros but same fix.
Insurance :-/ fitted cold air feed and fixed a Dodgey indicator. Also received a GoPro so gonna have a bash with that.
Finally got my car on a ramp and got my mechanic to give it a check over. reports that both ball joints are in need of replacement along with one CV boot luckily have the CV boot done at the same time as the arms is only a 30 mins job (unlike 3.1 hours on its own). he also reattach a lose heat shield. so that's booked in for next month
I didn't realise this was possible. I've seen plenty of people ask but never seen someone say they've done it, so it'll be interesting to see
Soon find out, Needs re programming hopefully just through Clip but ill stick a guide up once i get my hands on it and try it for myself.
Sure there was a big debate about this awhile ago if all the sensors for g ect are there should just be fit program job done?
All the sensors are there, As i have posted several times. It just needs "reprogramming". Whether or not it is just a simple case of enabling it via Clip remains to be seen or if it is going to take a bit of extra work.
Rear discs have been changed after two attempts by me one broken hub puller, a garage who couldn't get it off it's finally sorted...two weeks later
Good luck mate, mine must of been on since new so hence why they were a pain to get off. Other than that it's a piece of piss I could do it in about 10mins now.
Painted my boost gauge surround black to match the dash. Made the mount to angle the gauge straight at me.
Painted engine cover gloss black, plus a gator surround I picked up from Ebay. I'm going to get an armrest and replace the whole centre console, I've already got the front part and a local breakers has a few rear parts in stock so I'll go and have a look. Also fitted LEDs around the interior and number plate lights and replaced a couple of broken clips on the rear side panel that made it vibrate with music and do my tits in. On top of that I detailed the engine bay, cleaned it all up and used T1 trim gel on everything black I could see! I'm just waiting on a couple of replacement rubber bungs before I can fit the cover. Oh, and I put in the summer mats but sewed an extra Velcro strip in to stop the drivers side sliding forward. Had a busy day!
went to see Mark Black for power flex bushes, had a few other bits in the boot which he fitted while waiting for some parts to turn up. Short shift is brilliant, car feels really tight now with that and all the bushes renewed. Mark, you are a star  Also picked up some lowered seat bases from Steve, top quality job, which i'll fit over this weekend with the harnesses.
Just picked up this for £150 Anyone who wants one PM me! They are "unbranded" however directly from Forge!
Just taxed and insured mine ready to get out of storage for the first time this year. Very excited. It's been a while.
Start with my power flex install Recive all this on tuesday, Mexico city Fited today short, and a couple of mounts
fitted my lowered seat bases from Steve1, what a difference, highly recommended and top service, cheers mate .
Just cleaned interior this morning the yellow seat belts are impossible to keep clean. Pointless posting pic as they still will need doing again.
Bucket of hot water and soap powder and a brush worked for me and a clothes peg, then pulled all the belt out hung it over the headrest on the passenger seat to dry
