As above really guys, just had a wasted drive from Newport to Cardiff n back, I went to a place called A&A tyres as they have a hunter Align tracking system there, so after watching em pointing the puter for over 10mins I knew what was coming, sir is your car this or this or this or this, it seems that there system has no mention of my 230 R26 or any help from my vin, so not a very happy chappy. Can anyone help me with a tracking system that does have this model of rs and then maybe I can look for a place in Newport/Cardiff even Bristol that has one, cheers in advance for any help, surely it cant be this hard just to have my tracking done .
I had my old Clio 172 aligned at Orchard Motors in Newport. They are down by WelshCoastCustoms. Worth a go as your in Newport. Charged me £50 for tracking and camber adjustment. Can adjust height for extra £20 they said to. This was way back last year though.
Nothing matched the R26 , they even tried using heights for a match and nothing, not that I would have let em set it up just cos they had a height match anyway the dicks...
Most places would use what they had, ie 225, 230. I'll check autodata to see if the listed values are different. The important part is that the toe is matched and that total toe values are sensible. They should have offered you this at least! I can understand why you want it as it should be though! Let us know what happens. They should give you a copy of the before and after especially if they use a hunter system. Be good to see and compare values. I've seen some other results on here.
