250 Rear Window rubber trim

  1. Quick question to Mk3 RS owners - Just gave my car its first wash and noticed on both sides that the pointy end of the window rubber trim sort of curls up and sticks out.

Not sure if this is normal but you only notice it when up close, today is the first time I've noticed it in a week so its not a big deal, just a bit odd.

  2. Was the same on my old 250. Think it's quite common.

  3. has done from day one.. very common with all 250s

  4. Thought that was probably the case, my wife though I was a bit OCD just noticing it.

    Thanks

Common "issue", Bit of superglue and its sorted

  7. Luckily i only had the one side sticking out, dealer stuck it back down.

  8. Yep, same on mine. I've lived with it for now. I may stick it down at some point.

  9. same haha ive just left it for ages, will stick it back down when i get to it

  10. Yep, mine does it too, gets right on my nipples, would superglue hold it it it got caught again or would window bond work better?

  11. mine's stuck down using window bond, and that still holds up fine...

  12. Yep doing on the passenger side of mine, going into dealer soon to look at another issue so will ask then to stick it back down!

  13. Glad to hear it, I'd rather attempt it myself than the dealers, they'd end up with sealant all over the panels most likely lol!
