Black diamonds

  1. I've had black Renault diamonds on my 250 for a while now but I used Tardis on the car today and its completely discoloured them. The diamonds I have are from "underground_parts_limited" on eBay, does anyone have any alternative suggestions that won't get spoilt by Tardis? Should I just get the same set again or will masking up the badges whenever I use Tardis work?

  2. Just rub them down and paint them yourself. Same thing happened to me on my 200 when I had them. Once I painted them properly it never happened again.

  3. I had same experience from the ones on ebay they do discolour after a while. As already mentioned above repaint them.

  4. Too late now, I took them off this afternoon! Maybe I'll reorder a set and paint them before fitting. Cheers

  5. Try BBQ/stove paint. Matt black. Go over them with a hair dryer or better still a gentle heatgun

  6. I just vinyl wrapped mine, was going to get the ones off ebay but thought I'd give the vinyl ago first, only cost me £2

    Lever off with a screwdriver

  10. I used 2 screwdrivers, one to pop the badge from its base and the other to release the clips, it's a bit tricky but you have to be patient. You can pop it up enough to see how it clips in

  11. Back badge is super easy, I used a Phillips screwdriver wrapped in a micro fibre cloth to pop it out, no clips on the back one just grommets

  12. Danke!
