  1. For Mk2 Rs, must be mint and fit/function as standard!

  2. TBh mate if your after a mint one your best off buying an aftermarket one, its rare for them to come up and when they do there always old R26r ones which have gone milky

  3. But who offers aftermarket ones nowadays?

  4. Cazan racing do a brilliant one mate , meh even be better than the standard R one , he does 2 full carbon or carbon top fibre glass underneath, good value too

  5. You'll struggle to get a mint one off an R. If you buy one new from Renault it will be fooked after about a year.

Thought Angel had disappeared off the face of the earth Steve:wink:

  6. He has mate, no reply to feck all, it puts me off ordering anything from Cazan now.

  7. I've seen the Cazan one. I'll order one of those soon, although the comments above are a little alarming...?

  8. He's fine for ordering stuff when you go direct on the site. He's obviously just busy and can't be on the forums all the time. I've ordered tyres and exhaust etc from him and it's never been a problem. Service was excellent.

  9. Yeah. The £700 I spent on discs from him was a waste of money too. Front discs destabilise the car under heavy braking and the bearings in the rears are fecked in less than 2000 miles.

Recently he hasnt been as good though, I was going to order a few bits through him, sent multiple emails and PMs with zero reply. Went elsewhere with my money

  11. Try contact through Facebook? He's active on RSUK page.

I tried them all, Even his personal page.

Shame really as i have used them before, Lack of communication has put me right off now though

  13. same for me as Jamie, had brilliant service before, no reply to anything in the past month, i won't risk ordering all my bits i want from Cazan now.

  14. Stick it on a credid card, protected then.

As for the milky bonnets, what causes them to go milky? I'd be tempted just to get one that has gone milky and spray it body colour.

  15. Heat from the turbo

  16. And then the lacquer discolours in that area I take it?

Might go for a milky one and paint it black to match the car. Then inside get some heat reflective matting on there. I used to run a turbo jacket on a previous car which worked really well.

It effects the weave and the weave starts to open. I think it's heat retention in the standard cat which causes the problem, ones with decats or sports cats don't get any worse once fitted.

steven878 on here has my old bonnet, painted red but the underneath left unpainted, looks awesome.

  18. Mine got a stone chip on the front. The water got underneath the lacquer and it started to peel.

  19. New bonnet and a trip to RS Tuning for me then
