few jobs that needed doing before Combe, plus my missus was getting pissed at em being in the kitchen lol
Put down some primer on inside and cage.. Can't wait to see it in full orange also looking at this would you think I have a trackday week Sunday lol gonna have to work flat out..
Had a run on Engine Dynamics new dyno - 266bhp on 95ron with bonnet closed ill take that! Nice to now its all spot on Andy is a great guy very genuine, all cosher figures which is refreshing to see fair few RS's down there, anyone on here having work done there atm? You are in safe hands!
soo jealous!! did you see my albi down there? it won't be long before it's on the rollers what did you have done?
Probably mate there were about 10 RS's there, good setup with the workshop and rollers now. just a standard 265 mate, just fancied a run on the rollers/have a look around the new place etc really nice guys Andy and his dad, sure they will look after you
Lotus me up landlord just been out in the old roofless LandRover, same sun but just a tad slower than you I bet
630's arrived, replaced both anti rotation links, fitted a thermostat and the lower dogbone/gearbox powerflex bush. found a CV gator has split, two exhaust mounts have gone and that I need her tracking.
I need to do this, how hard was it fitting the sandwich plate? That's the bit putting me off at the moment!
When I first fitted it I went at it underneath, however tbh it's much easier from the top. Take off the front bumper and the headlamps then the slam panel, access will be a doddle with the slam panel removed be sure to use ptfe tape on the bungs
Finally had a chance to clean her but needed to fight off the creatures living inside my cleaning kit first! Safe to say it's been a while  She looked fresh this morning though
Refitted windscreen, dash after painting.. tested out wether or not to put loom along cage.. Still unsure
I wouldn't be pustting it along the cage, I don't think i have ever seen a caged car with it like that
It's just along that door bar I was putting it.. Through rear it follows original path.. Just trying tidy ways for it as the loom is basicly lying on floor under carpet from factory.. It be off again soon as I've ordered some loom sheathing to put over it as I redone whole rear loom.. So it may not go back that way
Now my battery is in the boot I made an air filter enclosure.Covered in exhaust wrap and heat reflective tape to keep the heat out and hopefully some of the induction noise in.
