  1. Had the Megane around 10 months now spent a small fortune on it (BC's, SMF, suspension refresh etc) and its running a cool 287bhp312lbft but still have that m3 itch! It was between the 2 when I bought the Megane lol

  2. I'm currently in the process of finding an e92.. I'm with you mate!

  3. I'm with you too mate. I still love the E46 Csl but realistically, I'm looking at E90 M3.....

  4. Yeah I'd love a e92 but there a tad out my price range but I'd settle for a mint 46 tbh

  5. As much as I admire the E46 as a car, I think they sound awful.. (like AWFUL) and all appear to be driven by lookalikes of the Green Street cast

  6. That rasp is a little marmite but have you heard one of them with a Geoff steel airbox when those itbs come on song!!!!!! Lol

I have a skinhead so I'll ignore that last bit haha

  7. I have had a e46 m3 Dan. Fantastic cars. had a great time with it. That itch won't go away, go on treat yourself you can thank me later for it.....be careful in the wet tho.

  8. Unfortunately I'm on the hate side of that marmite :tongueout:. I've also had the pleasure of starting up and taking an E92 for a little drive. That V8 is on a different planet

One of my mates picked up an 135i Coupe with the N53 and it's pretty bloody impressive. He's just about to spend £2,500 and take it up to 450Hp+ would probably consider one of them before an M3 now.

The 1M would be a dream car!

  11. I like the 135i, thing is it doesn't quite carry that M weight although on paper a modified 135 will out run a 46 m3

We already have a 1 series

  12. Do it, you wont be disappointed. I think they're great cars and performance wise its easily as quick if not quicker on track than my R on road tyres. Just be prepared for expensive running costs as BMW parts can be ridiculous. Have you thought of getting a CS? They're appreciating very well at the moment and now would be the time to buy one.

  13. i might be a little bias. i think they are great cars and prefer the e46 over e90 as the e90 feels to big, where as e46 just right

I chased an E46 this morning, got bored of watching his rear end twitch as he struggled.

  15. I'm on the good side of marmite I think they sound immense. For me that and a mk4 R32 are two of the best "affordable" car sounds.

superb all round car. Although they ain't any quicker than the 250 megs. I've had quite a few races with e46's around oulton park and everytime on the straights I'm either glued to them or get around them.

E92 M3 - great car, great looking and have good performance! When you see one side on with the nose downward and that bonnet vent they look superb!
