I will be embarking on clearing out the drain holes on my 225 tomorrow but whats the best way to do it?? From the scuttle panel, where do they actually end?? Can I just get the jet wash nozzle and blast them clean?? Cheers
I used a jet wash on mine and it worked, it was a last attempt as I couldnt find any thing long enough to reach the bottom.
They go a long way down. I use a thin drain snake for doing mine. You just have to be s little careful of the pipes and not piercing them.
I took a long length of welding wire from my mig welder, doubled it over a few times and used its to poke the gunge out of the holes. Seemed to do the trick nicely
Cheers for replying lads. Think im gonna get the jet wash nozzle on the drain and give it a few short blasts. It would be interesting to know where the exit points are?? Wheel arch or sill perhaps?? Cheers
Hose pipe down mine. Got a little bit wet! Just a little. Take the plastic pannel off in the footwell to make sure water is not getting through the inner wing.
Silly q but is there a guide? Had a search online but amounted to nothing. Or is it straight forward?
Thanks smegal Took a look over the weekend but no way did my wipers want to budge :/ My passenger side one seems to be clearing water ok but nothing coming from drivers side. May get into the wheel well!
