Cheers buddy...wanna buy it? Made my mind up that when I get home from offshore next week the M3 is a gonner. E92 prices have had a little rebound (time of year?), so going to accept a lesser loss and move on. Plan is to get a good priced used RS265, cup chassis, recaro's and have some fun with a view to coilers for trackdays. Watching all the vids of guys enjoying the RS on track and remembering what mine was like make me realise what the M3 cannot give. And get a Golf GTD as the mile muncher. Never checked PH, autotrader or Reno websites so much. I love it when a plan comes together....hopefully
Hi all, I'm currently looking for either a new 275 trophy or 265. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a lot of information online regarding deals for these cars in comparison to golf r's, 135im etc. Has anyone got any recent experience of purchasing either and what kind of deals should I expect to get?
megane for track and GTD for road and mile munching is good combo.. I have '14 gtd in oryx white and love it as commuter and then got the 225 as race car..
I'm looking into getting a GTD for work as should be moving into a field role. Seems like the best option. Merc for the weekends
Hi and welcome. I'm not sure but the order book for the Trophy was supposed to be closed in May, but they did extend it before. The trouble is, on a quick look, that appears to be the only model listed for sale (along with the R) - 265 no longer sold. You might be struggling - the Mk4 Megane is due this year. Have you called a dealer?
My flat mate is dead set on an E92 and has been shopping for a while. Is yours advertised anywhere at the moment to have a look?
this is an interesting thread as I was looking at the M3 I currently have a 2010 250 meg and was thing of changing it but cant make my mind up I have been looking at the m3 or a Focus Rs even though I really like my megane rs 250 has anyone own a Focus Rs and can give me a comparison?
The v8 ruined the e92 series M3, before and since it was an inline 6 which is much more happy engine.
