cheers, what mm have you got on yours?

thanks, yeah it could do with lowering springs. yeah i find the wheels alot nicer than the old and feels thicker

sort of, i sent them a email asking if they could make one, i showed them that company on facebook from poland who had made one for the megane. they came back saying there were looking in to it but then came back again because they already make one for the clio 197/200 that looks to be the simular to the one that 'Racingflex' has made

so there sending one to me to try for them

25mm on the rear, 5mm ordered for the front.

Let us know how you get on with the mounts as I'm going to be sorting mine soon.

Nice work Matt, the gearbox insert has impressed me, a noticeable difference on shifting, was doing the lower one too but sadly it's a different insert needed for the r.

  11. What difference do these make.

  12. matt e

matt e South East RSM Area Rep

to me it feels more taught and feels more positive when tou put your foot down. hopefully i will feel more benefit when i fit the lower one as well

yeah i think the gearbox mount it quite well designed with the two strands that fill the holes going though it. you've probley got the new design that renault now supply. I think there is a insert for that as well

  13. Got a link for the engine mount? much cheaper from amazon than Renault?

fitted a 12v usb socket in the glove box to use a dashcam

made a 29mm hole in the glovebox, where i think the cold air comes in from the blowers.

bought a piggy back fuse holder and used the fuse for the stereo so it comes on when the ignition is on

  19. interesting read. You have done loads and must have spent a fortune!! I take it you are not married

Car looks spot on. Did the mounts reduce any vibration in cabin?

    'Living with parents' lol

i didn't have any cabin vibrations before i fitted them tbh, and they haven't caused any fitted either

  21. Which dash cam did you go for? Any pics of it fitted? I'm looking into getting one myself but would like it be to well hidden.

removed the tints from the rear windows, looks so much better without them

16124122813_976976e7fa_c.jpg Window tints removed by mattageaton, on Flickr

im planning on having the headliner retrimmed along with the A,B and c pillars. i didn't know where the alarm sensors plugged in so i cut the wires to get them. i thought i could just attach them after but there's a wire within a wire so would be quite hard to do. after i found out where they unplugged i ordered a new set from adam and sprayed them black

  28. What is the point in those dash cams? Hadn't heard about them before now.

  31. They look awesome

genuine carbon fibre or are they dipped??

  32. Saw yours on autotrader, it looks absolutely mint!

  33. And the cams save lots of disputes like I had! So if someone says an accident wasn't their fault as most do these days then you send the video off to the insurance company and its all sorted!
