Sold my girlfriends car that had failed MOT for rust, and was beyond repair by myself. So it was sold for parts or repair. Well the guy came to collect it today and filled the trader section of the V5, as he said this is what he was. However he didnt give a dealer code and it looks like the postcode dosnt match the address. I'm a bit concerned as if I'm honest this is the first car I have sold. I just want to know does this affect me, so long as he has signed and dated it. And also I had to cross out a few bits on the from. Will the DVLNI still accept it? Thanks.
