Just got back from having airtec intercooler, ktec induction kit, boost hoses, short shifter and forge recirc valve fitted and a remap. Wow - what a difference, totally transformed the car, absolutely astounded by the difference - I've had mapped cars before, but this is truly the best I've owned by a long way. Made 268bhp and 275 ft lb torque. Did have a crappy remap already on it, made stock figures - glad it's gone. Will be going back for 250 turbo, injectors and sports cat asap. Happy bunny
Hi Chris, yeah they did - asked for a quote before I left, reasonable for the parts and effort involved. 300/300 is enough for me, so this will take me to exactly where I want to be. The short shift though, is without doubt the best mod for the r26 - love it!

Aren't the ktec short shifters a fair bit more than the engine dynamics one? Dont seem to be available at the moment either
They are a lot more, but you get a whole new renault actuator, so it's like a new gear shift feel, as opposed to an add on part. I have only used the k-tec version, so can only vouch for this, but I think this is a great mod - best for the car, above a remap, absolutely.
I've also got the Ktec Short shifter and its amazing - worth every penny, some guys who fitted the Engine Dynamics ones even thought about taking it off again...
Direct copy of my shortshift..but not bad value..the actuator alone would cost you £130 from renault..so you are basically paying £100 to have the linkage machined and finished.
I think I will get one soon enough, maybe when im ready to get the remap and get rstuning to stick it on.
