I didnt like it, interior very cheap too. Still cant get on with the front end and the massssive badge
I drove one around Oulton, in 'sport' mode and have to say it felt just as keen to turn in as the old 200 but the engine felt soulless and the gearbox only made that worse. In sport mode at least it's irritating as hell, mid corner where you might start to feed power back on it'll kick down a gear taking you out of the actual power band of the engine almost as if it's not been programmed to match the engine. The interior was marginally better than the old 200 though there's a bit too much shiny black plastic for my liking and the center R-display thing is just a distraction more than anything with most of the displays being the same as the RSmonitor but in colour effectively. The driving position is no better from the old car too, still too high. Oh and they love shedding wheels

i drove one around Red Bull Ring. the chassi setup was great, but the gearbox is killing this car. in the car, it felt like the plastic is taken from 1960s, terrible. i would wait for the gordini
Gear box is fine imo, the issue is the length of throw (so to speak) in the paddle. I looked to chop to 200 in but regardless how much deposit you put down you can't get 0% finance! Had I had got one the first thing I'd have done is take the steering column off and placed something to stop the paddle from returning to the stops. It is that that makes the box feels slow which it simply isn't. At Bedford I found my self holding the paddle half way just off the micro switch so it was engaged as soon as I moved them. When is race mode you have full control of the box and can even have it bouncing off the limiter.
