Bumper gap

  1. Took my car in on Thursday for new headlights (long story) and whilst washing it yesterday I noticed the bumper wasn't sitting correctly on the drivers side. The gap between the bonnet and the top differed a lot from the passengers side, and when I got back from a little afternoon drive the drivers side had actually popped out of its mount! No noticed the garage had cable tied part of it on and the part they had tied to had snapped! Will they be able to fix this of I take it back or is it useless? 03444af13322ac4985a3327da0398e49.jpg

Mines exactly like that, it pops out now and again. I've thought about screwing it to the wing inside.

  3. Yeah there are a few screws missing now and he's just used a cable tie which has snapped the bumper! It used to sit fine before and never popped out but he's obviously broken or lost something!

  4. Get it plastic welded up

  5. Iirc correctly mine did this the first time I removed my bumper, you have to align the black plastic slot that's attached to the bumper (the bit that is sticking out on your photo). These should align with where the screw goes through the wheel arch. It's a bit of a pig to get right but won't budge when done properly

  6. Okay thanks for that, I'll have a gander tomorrow!
