clicking noise

  1. ive got a clicking noise which i think is coming from the brakes, sounds like when you used to clip a playing card to your bike spokes but not as loud. It goes when i apply a bit of brake pressure but is back the second that pressure goes, ive had a good look but can't see anything rubbing, its from both sides as well, any ideas anyone?

  2. Martin what disks have you currently fitted?
    What pads are you using?
    How old is the setup?
Could be something suspension wise maybe droplinks?

    Drilled discs.

  4. PF 330 discs, DS2500 pads, all in good nick, you can only hear it with the windows down

  5. Yes I would tend to agree that it is the drilled/grooved disks that are causing it,
.turn the music up or close the windows, job done!

Pad on disc, same noise as mine. I just ignore it ha

  7. Reverse the repair to the rear lights to drown out the noise

  8. cheers for that Rob : )

  9.

After your repair to mine all I can hear rattle now is my stereo. That's coming out next

  10. just turn it up

  11. Don't really use it. Rather listen to the exhaust soundtrack. Besides, I need to strip some weight out to compensate for the extra I will be adding next week

  12. let me guess................

  13. Have you checked to make sure that one of the stickers on your driveshaft hasn't come loose & is catching. I remember a few had this problem. Me included.
