Front disc reccomendations

  1. old discs are badly worn on rear so fitting new brembo pads, but looking for discs. seen brembo on flea bay for £80 anything better than that price for everday use.

  2. £80 for disc or pads?? Looking for some front discs.

  3. Pair brembo discs only

  4. I don't think you can get anything for cheaper than the HC's for £80 a pair, loads of people run them on here with aggressive pads and have great things to say about them. The OEM drilled brembos on the R26 are around double that price for example.

The best place for OEM pads would be Ads on this...

  5. What's the link to them discs mate?

  6. Not a problem. Happy to help.

  7. Ooph, spent £230 on new front discs last week.

Ads does them for just over £100 per disc

  9. Balls. Those the grooved discs?

Yes mate, plain are the same price as well IIRC and so are rears

  11. Anybody fancy doing a thread on how to chnage both discs and pads on the front brembos? I've done my clio 182 discs and pads easily but not sure on knocking the pins out etc.

I've never done any and I'm not a mechanic but once I have a guide I'm confident in doing so.

  12. I got the grooved from Renault Parts direct.. I'll save myself a few quid next time and go to ads

  13. Yep, Ads is the man, recently got new rear discs from him, great price and service.

  14. Just done mine and hopefully yours wont be such a pain. torx screws mullered just use centre punch to undo. pins seized solid had to cut each end and centre punch front side but drill rears. They wouldn't move even with largest hammer and heat. Fitted last nite with high tensile cap head bolts all covered in copper slip,so easy next time. If yours has been looked after an hours job per side max.

  15. £90 ;-)
I've just ordered front and rear discs with rear pads for £390
