The rear pipes on my megane are scrawny looking and battered. I just wondered if the rear tips are removeable? If they are, mine doesnt seem to have any so what diameter is the pipe? I stupidly didnt investigate this issue before I bought the car.
Don't think you can get the tips on their own, may be worth messaging people on ebay etc who are breaking cars?
Go to a local exhaust place and they'll weld some new tips on for around 40/50 as the current ones look atrocious.
I've got a stock rear box and tailpipes, it's been cut when removed as most have but would sleeve/weld or you could cut off the tailpipes and put on yours? I've also got a center section that has had the box removed. Free if you want them? Bit of a drive I'm King's Lynn, Norfolk
Cheers for the offers guys. To be honest I want to sort out my TPMS and engine mount problems first but I will be onto the exhaust after that. Assuming nothing else goes wrong in the meantime. Oh, and I'm in LE10 too.
Thats what Im doing mate. Already done the engine mount and the car feels so much better. Gonna get the TPMS turned off next and then crack on with sorting the exhaust out. Will you have the backbox still or is it advertised somewhere?
