High Build Plastic Primer

  1. I have prepped a plastic panel which has some filler. It's all smooth now, the idea is to vinyl wrap this panel but before I do so I would like to apply some high build primer to get it perfect. In the past i've used some primers and then applied vinyl on top and the vinyl has lifted to primer. Can anyone recommend any good high build primers? specially to work with plastic. Also, should I allow a certain amount of curing time before applying vinyl on top of the primer? and do I need any sort of adhesion promoter between the panel and the primer?

  2. Clean the panel down
    apply 2 coats adhesion promotor
    high build primer
then I would leave it at least a week to cure

  3. 3m primer

  4. What kind of adhesion promoter will you suggest? Isnt a primer supposed to have great adhesion properties?
