Fitted discs and pads all round also fitted h&r lowering springs with 20mm rear spacers, gearbox oil renewal. Was expecting the springs to be a nightmare going off other forum members experiences. I was surprised at how easy it was (hub removal unnecessary)
I will do tomorrow It needs a damn good clean now. Its been off the road for a month because the standard front spring snapped. I based my choice of springs/spacers on your car. It looks just right imo
Cleaned it, tried spsd v3 50:50 with bsd so much slicker and easier to apply look foward to seeing if the beadings as good as bsd on its own
There is a danger that I will be cleaning the meg on the weekend. Its only an idle threat at the minute
Weather is looking ok. Just bought some new snow foam I have sourced a clay mitt Its looking dangerous.
I normally keep on top of the cleaning in summer , but winter seems pointless. Its going to take an age to get clean.
I know who their for Ed, he thinks he's keeping up with mine since I fitted the ASTs by fitting some new rubber bits.
As part of my cleaning OCD inspired by Ed ( Liquid F1 ) removed arch liners, sprayed with Britemax Grimeout and cleaned. Picture of front passenger side. Before After Thanks for the advice Ed.
I just did the best "homework" ever!!! In the garage is very cold at the moment and its been snowing for two days. So I decided that Im not gonna wait for it to get warmer . Here are the result:
Fucked it... Wheel came off while driving. Fucked the wheel, threaded one of the holes my bolts go into and the steering is out. Could be costly
Investigated a sticky caliper. Struggled getting the wheel off. Then didn't have the right Allen key, looks like a 7mm, to remove the caliper! Not a complete waste of time though, I now know that the pads are fine once I get the caliper sorted.
Fitted set of recently cleaned injectors to loose the popping on idle and powerflex the gearbox mounts. With a nice slice on the thumb to go with it all
Ripped passenger seat out. Lifted the carpet and took the foam out. Then ringed the water out of the foam and put it round the house on the heaters to dry. Now need the carpet to dry abit and find were the hell the wayer is coming from

Got the Polski's across the road to clean it and then I emptied a few bin bags worth of junk I had in the boot and door pockets. Also found my boost gauge that I keep meaning to fit. Anyone know how to get the pipe from the cabin through to the engine bay? Do you need to drill a hole or is there an existing hole somewhere with a grommet that I can use?
