Full size 18inxh wheel as a spare

I have one in the boot of my car, literally in the boot not the tyre well.

I've not tried it yet but apparently the foam, surround stuff isn't designed to take a full sized alloy but the tyre well will.

If I get round to it I will give it a try and let you know. (That's a Phase I 225 with Phase I full fat alloy).

 

Get a 17" space saver steel from a espaces with a 175 60 17 full size tyre on, fits over front brakes and in the wheel well

 

I've got a full size r26 wheel as a spare, fits in the wheel well absolutely fine with tyre. Even has room for the jack to fit down the side of it.

 

Handy to know as I've not tried my 225 rim in the wheel well as of yet.
