Attempted to change my front pads. Failed miserably as I couldn't get the pins out and I didn't have a hex bit big enough for the caliper bolt. Fcuksticks. https://flic.kr/p/r1qnym
Cheapy over badges off Flea Bay as wanted to try them before committing, but they look pretty good. If the sticky fails and they fall off its £7.95 down the drain;-) Now I've seen them on I'm tempted to get the original badges carbon wrapped to match the bonnet. Live with the cheap overlays for a while and see...........probably never get round to it
just send a pair of the black stick on badges off and have them dipped easier and can allways go back to chrome
Looks good with the black/grey theme. I fitted the carbon ones on mine but didn't really like them so went back to standard.
Done a few bits and pieces over the last few days, I gave the 250 a good clean and top up of wax and also removed the rear wiper blade and motor. Resealed my rear light. blocked off my Headlight washers (they were annoying me lol) and fitted new whiter looking headlight bulbs and sidelights
Had front and rear pads and discs changed on Saturday. Fluid and lines changed yesterday. New tyres got delivered yesterday too.
New rack bush, twist links, driveshaft bracket, new wheel, lowered subframes and re-align exhaust. All thank to mark. Everything feels tight and direct.
That's the lower engine mount Steve. Not tried it with this in yet but I did my gearbox one and it's alot better. Not sure if mine were buggered but sometimes the engine movement made it kind of throw the car into a gear but feels nice and precise now.
Not to do with my car but had a formula renault experience today, absolute hoot but over far too quick spent half the time getting used to it, the sequential boxes are proper hard work! and for anyone with big feet wear the smallest shoes possible, the clutch brake and accelerator are literally next to eachother, like i could probably press all 3 with one foot if i tried. it was wet aswell so had a wicked time out of the corners
