Well i had a thread up not long ago about my 225 knocking over rough ground and it was suggested the drop links or anti twist links were shot so at the weekend my mechanic took all my front shocks out as i had some H&R springs to put on and while he was at it obviously checked my top mounts and said they were fine but replaced the drop links and anti twist links. Well unfortunatly its not solved the issue. Grrrrr! It has made it quiter which is prob due to having the new bits on which will have stiffened it all up but im just wondering what to do next. What do you guys think?? Ball joints? Track rod ends?? Im at a loss really as what to do. I hate rattles and knocks so its driving me mad. Any more help would be great.
My money is on the plastic bushes on the inside of your steering rack or the inner rack arms. Does it sound like it's coming from the passenger side lee
Wouldnt like to say lee to be honest. If anything maybe both. Im no mechanic so when it comes to this side of things abit rubbish really! My father in law lives about 10mibs from scunthorpe next time were across if your about you can have a listen!!!

Mechanic said top mounts were ok?? Will prob end up changing all possible bits and it be the last one i try!! Just wish i new what it was, its expensive just changing bits in the hope its that!
its not massively expensive. It could be swivel bearings though as I've known them make a knocking noise. Lee
