  1. Looking to change the 250 cup for a 275 and just wondering what's the best price people have been quoted before I head to the dealer.

  2. I got 25,699 was the best price I could get from Arnold Clark in St. Helens, they offered 4.5k for my 07 r26 with 43k on the clock, full rsh belts done etc.

  3. Thanks for the info. Gives me an idea of what discount to get out of them.

  4. You won't get that from renault, that Arnold Clarke price is only if you take their finance package. You can't get it at that price if you walked up with cash and no trade in

  5. Well decided to go for the 275 and keep the 250 as well. Once the 275 arrives I can start on making the 250 a dedicated track car.

  6. Glutton for punishment?

Only joking - nice idea mate, get some pics up when you've got everything sorted.

  7. I'll be looking to trade my 250 later this year. Were you not getting very good offers part-ex wise?

  8. Did get some good part-ex offers but decided I wanted a track car and the 250 has only done 14000 miles so would be the ideal solution. I have even had the local dealer wanting to buy it due to the low mileage.

  9. Fair enough. Not many low mileage ones knocking about.. mine's coming up to 60k. Most mileage I've had on a car before. Will put off settlement figures for some months yet

  10. Order books close sometime in March so if you're after a new one you'd better be quick !

  11. Didn't say I'd be going for a 275  I suspect it'll be low, RWD and pokey

  12. Slammed mkI MX5?

Or did you mean Porker

  13. Haha, with all due respect to Mazda lovers, I'd rather walk.

Cayman (or Boxster) S/Exige S is where I'll be aiming  Or an Evora for the soundtrack

  14. Nice

Cayman or Exige is something I could be looking at eventually if everything does 5 door. Not keen on the Boxster or the Evora personally.

  15. Yeah sorry that was for a cash buy but with my Meg as trade in.

  16. So overall no deals to be had on these. Such a shame guess we've been spoilt in the past with decent discounts

  17. a few 275's on AT at the moment at £25,000. Might be worth a look

  18. nice one jocky theres one not too far from me in manchester. Just in such a dilemma to go for it or wait out for the new focus rs.

  19. might be worth waiting in that case mate. low mileage used 275's will start filtering through in the spring/summer anyway

Alternatively, I might go the monster route and pick up a used C63... That V8

  20. Nice choice epic fuel bill though!! I've pinged out my email to a few dealers asking for some deals so hoping to hear back from them within the next week. Have renault discontinued xenons as there seem to be no 265's or 275's with them fitted.

The normal headlight bulbs look quite rubbish imo

  21. Discontinued from the 265 facelift forwards, cost cutting :worried:

i have them on mine mind, directional too, love em

  22. My mates just got rid of his C63, 12 to the gallon on average

  23. C63 is a dream machine.....affordale to buy used.....seriously hard to run!! You gotta have deep pockets! But what a machine and the coupe is even better!!

  24. Just as well I live 5 miles from work!

  25. Cycle and get a GTR then :tongueout:

  26. Jeeeeeez, don't tempt me!

  27. I just had had a look at the one in renault Manc, it's seriously nice, I didn't speak to the rep tho, I know they would have talked me into it!

  28. Is that the one that hasn't got the speedline upgrade?

  29. Well received a email back with some quotes after 4 years gfmv would be around 9k thats with a 5k deposit and £300 x 48 payments. Looking at current prices id have thought the trophy will still be worth more after 4 years

    thoughts guys?

Going by 250/265 and 265 Trophy prices i wouldn't hold you breath.

The only MK3 RS that will hold its value, Or at least not depreciate like all the others, will be the Trophy-R

  31. Yeah its just got the normal 18"black Tibor alloys from the 265 and it was sitting in the used sales bit, If I was renault I'd have it inside the main showroom protected from the elements!
