  1. Hi, After modifiying my R26 had to change my insurance company as the existing company would not accept any changes from a standard spec car. I called around and found SKY INSURANCE from a link on the forum and found them to be very helpful, speedy and cost effective. All mod's were accepted the only loading was for the addition of a roll cage (not yet fitted).
VERY happy and thanks for the link R.S Megane!!

  2. Glad to hear this. My renewal is this month so will be definitely be checking them out

  3. I use them as well. Excellent so far.

  4. Another one to try add is esure; just bought my policy for £246 with an SP30 added to it .. cheapest for my 275 by a long shot!

  5. Guessing you're not 23 like me..? :tongueout:

  6. Adrian Flux for me!! I'm 21, All modifications declared, On the policy on my own, access to other vehicles, £575 all in with all covers (windscreen, legal, breakdown etc etc)

  7. Haha nope, 33yo here  but with a little itty bitty speeding fine

  8. At 24 my 265 was £420 i think, just renewed at 25 for £326 with 3 points. Mental cheap. Hastings quoted me 308 i think but had no windscreen cover and £250 higher excess from memory!

  9. Esure were competitive for me too, 380 i think. I found practically every insurer quoted on the 265 when i hit 25

  10. I paid £995 at 22. Touch wood it goes down a healthy amount in the next couple of weeks! Going to be raiding Greenlight, Brentacre and Sky

  11. Im 22 and i paid £540 suprising the wide range of prices people get quoted, i know area has alot to do with it but it cant be that much

  12. Wow, I might move next door to you. Who's that insured with?

I used to be a big fan of sky insurance, unfortunately they have gown downhill considerably and wouldn't even bother to try and match my quote from someone else.

Shame really as I see them for a while when I had my old Fiesta as they were the only ones that wiukd cover my extensive mods like for like.

My renewal is due soon, done a quick check and I'm getting quotes of £300, wonder of my current insurer will be able to match that.

  14. Admiral on a multi car policy with the mrs. Since i moved and gained an extra years ncb it came down £600. I do think living in a village helps.

  15. I am jocky. I got quotes for my 275 from comparison sites. Minimum was £1500. Looked at esure and got quoted 400 and a bit.

  16. Just got a quote from esure and it came out at £530.96. Decent
