  1. Evening,

Did the 225 have an optional upgrade of 8 spoke alloys?

  2. Not 19's no

  3. So would they be from a laguna and therefore a different offset etc? Been offered a set stating they are for a Megane.....

  4. Can't think of the Laguna even having 19s as optional extras? From what i can remember from working at Renault was the 250 was the first to have a 19" alloy option

  5. Hmm strange! Maybe I need to get them just to see... £80 is a bargain if they do fit....

  6. These are 18s btw.

  7. I am still interested, send me some pics. 19's sound interesting but have been miss advertised if they weren't an option....

  8. He assures me they are 19's...will call him tomorrow.

  9. Okay mate. Well I can tell you now these are 18s as used to have 225 40 18 tyres on them haha. But will send you some pics now.

Deffo not 19" and they look fooked, £80 is well over what should be payed, I sold a full set in decent condition like those for under £100 and they didn't need refurbing to be roadworthy.

  12. Doh doh doh!

Thought it was too good to be true! Hmmm I will call him anyway to check. Preferred to buy a set with tyres as I want to see if it cures my wheel bearing road noise issue before refurbing and putting on new tyres.

those tyres look bolloxed too if that was your thinking mate

  14. Now just got the challenge of breaking the bad news to the seller! Either way they have been miss advertised, so hopefully wont cause an issue.

  15. Definitely no 19s on the 225s mate. I remember going over every spec possible when I ordered my inferno 225.

Only wheel options then was the Cup pack which gave you multi spoke wheels you saw on the Phase II.

Those are just the (now rare) Phase I 'full fat' 18s. Came in 17" in South Africa though.
