Hello everyone, so yeah I've come over from the clio forum (my favourite forum yet). My names Jake and I'm 21, owned a Renault Sport clio 182 which was far from standard, bucket seats, coilovers, harnesses etc. Alternator went and that was pretty much the last straw for me. So it was sat on the drive for a month before I finally went with the old man to pick my Megane 250 cup up from K-Tec racing. Fell in love with it straight away especially with the drive back home through the roads, full leather interior (recaros) and the cup chassis. Owned the car now for a month now and been loving every minute of it, think I've put around 2,000 miles on it! Haven't really done anything to it besides smaller plates front and back, smaller aerial, some renault dust caps and a KTR induction kit. Don't really plan on doing much to it this year, next year I have a few plans for it so keep an eye out on the project thread! Here's a few pictures - Filthy just from this week! @JockySteer 182 was very good, sometimes it can be a little boring but when I wanted to go for a blast down some country roads it'd always put a smile on my face. The meg is exactly the same, but with the LSD, more power and the cup chassis it puts an even bigger smile on my face! Nice place to be in as well
Yeah Im over from cliosport.net as well, we still have the 172 but also fancied something a little different hence the Megane. So far its been a good welcome.
