It came today and has Miltek all over it including the round tail pipes. system is 2.75 inch and tailpipes 3 inch as expected. Rang Ktec up just before they closed and they advised they collabrate with Miltek so will have Miltek on it. Ok i thought Now on closer inspection the back box seems bigger more oval shape than cylinder shape. Little by cheeky really, but nether the less Millteks still a quality system. Would it have been cheaper direct though?
Worked out £450 with delivery which i think is about the same? Its the backbox thats bugging me as it will be quieter compared to the other one if its larger. I had a miltek before and with decat was aweosme but i also experied it with a sports cat and it lost so much noise and Low end grunt as expected. i suppose with miltek like you say it is a decent system and decat can always be done if i get bored.maybe a little more social aswell with the miltek
Lol well i wanted the one i ordered, but thought i would ask if anybody had similar experiences. If i ordered cobra there would be no confusion but if they use miltek im unsure if its just a miltek one or supposed be ktec's version. getting some work done tomorrow on my hubs so may just get it fitted anyway. decat option in future and will sound awesome anyway.
If it has the big round box then you have the Miltec .. Which is much quieter than the Ktec 2.75" one with small round back box Miltek do make both systems tho
Sounds more like he has the Miltec with round tail pipes .. Same as mine .. No picture of that is there nob ed
dont understand why they have sent the wrong one are they that stupid! mate had the same problem with his exhaust kept sending the wrong sleeve size not from K-tec though seems whoever packs these things doesnt pay much attention to detail.
I'll wait & see if I get the 3" system I ordered then. 2.75" is no good to me when I put my engine in. Lee
Right have rang K-tec and spoke to somebody else who checked the part numbers and indeed i do have the Miltek backbox as i suspected. They are sending the correct part tomorrow and collecting the wrong back box tomorrow.
well had to pick the parcel from the depot in the end as the driver was off sick and i wanted to try and get the exhaust fitted this weekend.
miltek too quiet in my experience. I want a deeper sound and from looking at videos will hopefully be the one.
