Hello all my 250 cup is now home after a couple of years away from petrol turbos it was time to get back in the game and seeing as my bro has opted for a focus rs it was only ever going to be the 250 cup for me. Here's a quick pic or 2

  4. Very nice. My favourite colour for the mk3.

  5. Very nice. What made you go for the Renault and not the focus rs? Only ask this question as I expect you have had quite a bit of exposure to your brothers.

  6. Looks really nice that, love that colour with those wheels!

having driven both the focus is the animal so to speak too aggressive both looks and drive inc torque steer ect.. The Megane is more usable daily even being a cup with 19"s and in my opinion a sleeper compared to other hot hatches so my kind of car.

Thanks I wasn't sure about having the 19"s being a cup at first but I have compromised by not having the recaros I have the grey/yellow rs seats with yellow belts which I'm happy with.

Was it a standard FRS? Ive driven several from 100% stock to 500bhp+ ones. Standard ones are actually surprisingly good and have little torque steer, Certainly no where near as bad as Jeremy Clarkson made out. Even the high power ones were not that bad but they have good linear maps on them which makes them a lot more driveable

Don't get me wrong the frs 301ps is ok the torque steer I fefer to being road induced on a bad road the focus is simply worse than the megane.

I genuinely think if i didn't do trackdays and wasn't interested in them at all then i probably would of bought one instead of my Megane, Even just for that noise. Mega

The Megane just sounds like a wet fart.

I'm going to sound old now but that's why I prefer the Megane track and everyday in one . Agree the frs sounds great Id say if wanting to get noticed kind of thing the frs is the car for that.

  16. Looks cracking, nice choice!
