R26 Spacers- Questions

Discussion in 'Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres section' started by Powello9, Jan 29, 2015.

  1. Hi Guys,

I've just contacted a company about spacers for my R26 F1 and they said the smallest i can use is 20mm.

I'd much prefer 10-15mm as i think 20mm is a bit to much. Can anyone advise?

Said company said 'can't fit anything less than 20mm on your vehicle due to the vehicle hub spigot depth.'

    Cheers in advance,

    Rich

  2. You can fit what you want as long as they are hubcentric and you have the correct nuts/bolts.

  3. Are the Megane ones the same as the Clio 197 or 200? Just on ebay...

  4. The ones I've fitted was advertised as clio.

  5. Thats great James, thanks for your feedback.

  6. Could be the company you enquired from spacers smaller than 20mm won't fit.
I remember on my old Clio I think it was fk 13mm hubcentric spacers (type b) wouldn't fit without grinding the hub spigot down a few mm

  7. Got a pic of yours fitted chap and a link? Please

Some people seem to think they stick out too far past the arches but as you can see on this one they dont.
