Has anyone ever bought/fitted canards to their meg before? I am not sure how it'd look and having seen them look sensational on some cars (i.e. C63 black), I'm interested to see what they'd look like on the meg. I also don't know where to buy them from.
Would like to see them you had a look on the oz site they seem to be a lot braver than us brits with their cars some nice cars on there with bigger spoilers and what not
Just had a look on the oz site.. found this. I think it looks great http://s1289.photobucket.com/user/s...353989330208_730842675_n_zps3bb3884c.jpg.html
They come from Japan, I know the company that supplies them but i can't for the love of me remember the name at the moment. Begins with a "C" I'm sure LOL!
Gets canards, Fits them almost horizontal. LOL. Proof that Megane's are getting cheap to buy for the riff raff. Edit: Mike nah not them, They are from a Japanese company
Actually, Flyeye headlight and Paul Walker sticker. Aye Chavs and scum are definitely able to afford Meganes now
Dont mind the flyeye but them stupid paul walker stickers get on my nerves ,think every focus st in the work car park has one and theres about 10 of them
carol-fukaya.jp Be warned, their stuff isn't cheap then remember you have shipping and possibly import costs on top. Im quite tempted by their rear spoiler eventually
Spoiler looks awesome. Endless pads are supposed to be really good. My cousin has them in his Evo and swears by them. Haven't been able to find any in the uk.
Endless pads are pretty easy to get hold of in the UK, Remember the Megane shares pads with Evo's/Impreza's and Alfas.
Pointless? Hardly, Mine will be getting a proper splitter/flat floor and probably canards while it is getting caged at the end of the year but then it is being built as a track car, Not something that has random bits of shite stuck on for looks. Even on more standard ish cars losing some lift is only a good thing, The Mk3 does get a bit light are proper speeds so anything that helps combat that is a big plus.
flat floor is a bit ott for a track car. And unless your spending a huge amount of money its not a cheap thing to do.
Its not when you have someone with the knowledge and experience to help with though. One of my friends has a full aero package on his Mk2 golf and it is very, very effective and hasn't cost much to make at all
