  1. Hello,

I will start this post by saying that Vibratechnics knows nothing about our cars. Until today, they were marketing they're engine mounts as
    Megane 2 RS 175, 225, R26.

So I found, the hard way that Vibratechnics believes 175 is a petrol version of the Megane 2 RS!

So, therefore I have for sale a full set of Vibratechnics engine and gearbox mounts for 225, R26 and R26.R
You can find the parts as: REN400M, REN410M and REN420M. So upper engine mount, gearbox mount and lower torque link. The mounts were previously used, so they are not new, but in perfect shape. If I wash them, they will be "new".

I'm looking for 300£ shipped in UK.

I will put some pictures next days.

  2. Hi do these make a big differance in handling?
    I need some new mounts.

  3. They are engine mounts!

  4. They were a must on 172s made such an improvement in the drive. Don't seem so popular on the megs though...

  5. They might be engine mounts but they have a positive effect on handling due to the reduction in engine movement on hard braking, acceleration and on turn in. Less movement is less unwanted weight transfer.

  6. Can anyone verify how much extra vibration gets transmitted into the cabin with these?

    Thanks

  7. You feel it more in the pedals than anything but it does resonate through the cabin

  8. I have them on my family 5-door 225 and would say that cabin vibration noise in increased, but not by much. What was worse was that vibratechnics hadn’t got the shore hardness of the rubber quite right on the gearbox mount, so I was getting a huge resonant frequency at around 3.2k rpm that was almost deafening. It went as soon as you went under or over it but was still annoying. I mentioned this to K-tec who said that other adopters of these mounts had the same problem. When they had my car, they got vibratechnics in to try a few differing rubber shore hardnesses and got it right first time. The new gearbox mount should stop this as it has with mine.
You can also feel that the engine doesn’t heave and roll under hard braking or accelerating.

  9. Also keep in mind that this kit was used, so the rubber is a little softer than the new ones.

  10. You made me curious enough to order a durometer and actual measure the hardness of the rubber in the mounts, if that comes before I have to sell them. So, this way we can see exactly what they've done there.

  11. I don't actually know the shore hardness of the mounts but I'd be interested to know - I might email Vibratechnics to find out.

  12. No one is really interested in some engine mounts???

  13. Sold!

They will leave a better life in a R26.R.
